ICESQUARE / CO₂ CONTROL

CO₂ humidity and temperature control without resistance reheating

We integrate CO₂ as the refrigerant in air handling units to cool and reheat air through evaporation and gas cooler functions. This controls humidity and temperature without electric resistance reheating.

How it works and what we assess

The IceSquare solution uses CO₂ as the refrigerant in air handling units to combine cooling and reheating. Evaporation and gas cooler functions allow the study of combined humidity and temperature control without electric resistance reheating. Sensible and latent loads, entering-air conditions and process targets are reviewed. Functions are integrated and controlled according to each application.

Where it is used

  • Processes requiring combined humidity and temperature control
  • Air handling using CO₂ as the refrigerant
  • Integrated dehumidification and reheating
